Volt Circuit is a structured programme for 14-18 year-olds, delivered in schools and colleges, that builds confidence, professional skills, and real-world readiness through entrepreneurship.
We recruit 20+ year olds, train them, provide them with all the materials they need, and send them to the schools to mentor 14-18 year olds. This creates innovative thinkers, place based networks intergenerational links, and so much more.

2. Start with mindset, end with a business. This is the only program for young people that goes from mindset all the way through to launching and running a business.
3. Earn fully accredited Digital Badges. Three badges celebrate engagement at online, in person, and leadership levels:
- Voltstarter: for completing the Short Circuit.
- Voltpreneur: for completing the in person Volt Circuit.
- Volt Mentor: for helping us deliver the Volt Circuit.
How do we know it works?
Whether a single workshop, a short series, or a full ten-session circuit – every Volt package is built around a specific place, school, cohort of students, and the funder's mission.
The data in the image speaks for itself: young people aged 16-17 enrolled in a Level 1 carpentry class found that the Volt Circuit made a difference to their confidence, business know how, and long term agency about their futures.

Our packages are designed to give schools and colleges a timetable-ready, evidence-generating programme that requires minimal effort from school staff and aligns with almost all Gatsby Benchmarks. Using experiential learning methods, we build confidence, communication, and professionalism in young people. Evidence shows that this improves behaviour and enhances attendance and attainment.
How? Through structured 2- 12- or 20- hour sessions delivered after school or as a bootcamp during school holidays or careers week.
